Recognising the pace of progress across Asia’s mobile communications markets, the GSMA has created the brand new Asia Mobile Awards 2007 as a platform to showcase leadership and diversity for mobile content, products and services across Asia.



The GSMA’s awards are judged by independent experts, and are open to all players in the mobile eco-system that develop and provide compelling products, services and content to Asian mobile markets. The categories for these new awards have been designed with an emphasis on mobile entertainment, including Music, Film and Gaming, plus social networking and mobile advertising – some of the hottest topics for the mobile industry today.

Celebrating the highest achievements across the region, the inaugural 2007 awards categories will reward the leaders, innovators and creators of compelling mobile services and products.

These prestigious Awards represent a stage for all players in the value chain to gain deserved recognition and the attention of their peers and the media in and around Asia and our international community, and to thank customers, employees, partners and investors.
